Organic Lotus Nuts
Lotus seeds are good source of protein, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus. They are also low in saturated fat, sodium, and cholesterol. Traditionally, they are known to be beneficial for the heart and kidneys. Lotus seeds also have astringent properties, which makes them helpful in relieving the symptoms of diarrhoea and improving appetite.
Usage Tips: Add cleaned lotus nuts, red dates and white fungus with water. Boil at high heat and then simmer on low heat for 25-30 minutes to soften the lotus nuts. Add in rock sugar for taste.
